Founding Farmers Brings Headquarters and More Than 90 Jobs to District Heights

A well known restaurant company has expanded its presence in Prince George’s County, bringing its headquarters and commercial food production operations to District Heights.
Founding Farmers has moved its Washington, D.C. headquarters to a new facility in District Heights, according to the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation.
The company purchased the property in 2024 as part of an effort to expand its commercial kitchen operations. The facility is now fully operational.
The District Heights location produces a variety of products used by the company's restaurants and catering operations. Those products include house roasted coffee, handcrafted chocolates, fresh baked pastries and other scratch made food and beverages.
The company expects the expansion to create more than 90 new full time jobs by the end of 2027.
That makes the project significant for the local economy.
